About

Mohammed Alsanie is a Saudi new-media artist, influenced by 1980s retro sci-fi and synthwave culture, his work is saturated with neon and nostalgia, using the aesthetics of the past to imagine possible futures. His recent practice focuses on seamless, infinite video loops and digital worlds that blur the line between cinematic memory and speculative landscape.
Alsanie creates interactive and immersive installations that balance the physical and the digital. His 3D scenes build quasi-imagined realms grounded in real places, including his exploration of Riyadh for Noor Riyadh 2022, as well as projects rooted in Jeddah.
His work has been featured in contemporary art events such as 21,39 Jeddah Arts (2021). He has been commissioned by leading cultural platforms and institutions in the Saudi art scene, including MDLBEAST, the Saudi Art Council, Noor Riyadh, the Ministry of Culture, Riyadh Art, and Misk Art Institute, and has collaborated with independent musicians and producers across online platforms.
